Here's a list of some of our bartering opportunities.

Sorting at end of the sale: If you can organize a group of students who might need community service hours to come and sort unsold clothing items on the last day of the sale, then you will earn the equivalent hours toward volunteer pre-sale priveleges. For example: If you have two people who work four hours each then you earn 8 hours of volunteer priveleges. We are always happy to sign the volunteer paperwork for the service hours completed at our event.

Posters or Fliers at Churches/Day Cares/Schools (This option closes three weeks before each event.): If you can print out and post our professionally-designed posters for promotion at churches, schools, daycares (or anyplace else that caters to kids) before each sale OR if you are able to promote JBF within an organization, you'll earn one hour toward a pre-sale pass/per group. (The first person to request coverage of an organization will be the one who earns the volunteer credit.) FULL

TV or Radio coverage: Do you know someone who reports at one of the major news or radio stations and can get us interviewed or on TV? This earns you an 8-hour pre-sale passes.

Magazine/Newspaper coverage: Do you know someone who reports/writes for an area or regional magazine or newspaper and can get us some editorial coverage for our event? If so, this earns you one 8-hour pre-sale pass.

Infant & Children's Nurses/Office Staff: If you work at a hospital, doctor or dentist's office (or any other type of office for that matter) that caters to infants and children, you have the opportunity to earn pre-sale passes by posting a JBF poster and handing out referral cards. Simply sign-up (using your name/office name) so we can track your referrals and, for every 20 individuals who sign-up to shop or consign, you will earn one pre-sale pass. There is no limit to the number of passes you can earn! Email Michelle for more information! 

Kitchen & Lawn-n-Leaf Trash Bags: If you donate 400 NAME BRAND (the generic bags are too thin and easily rip open) kitchen (13 Gallons or larger) or lawn-n-leaf trash bags, you will earn one four-hour pre-sale pass. We cannot accept any smaller-sized bags.

Providing Meals/Snacks: For every one meal (for six) or two snacks (for six), you will earn one pre-sale pass. Meals include healthy food, dessert AND drinks. Snacks include a fruit option, 12 bottles/cans of water/pop AND one other option (like granola bars, cookies or Chex Mix). Snack = 4 Hours   Meal = 8 Hours SNACKS ARE FULL

Postcard/Brochure Printing: If you are able to provide JBF with professional graphic art design, printing or postage, please contact Michelle to discuss your pre-sale pass(es).

Photography at Sale: If you are a professional photographer and would like to come to the pre-sale and take digital photographs of the sale and provide them to us to use (royalty free) in our promotions, you could earn one 12-hour pre-sale passes.
